Sniff, sniff...

Well, we've decided to say goodbye to our beautiful, wavy, drafty, 97-year-old windows. We're going to stop spending obscene amounts of money on heating and cooling and get more energy-efficient windows. I'm trying to find somewhere to take the windows with the original glass, but apparently, contrary to what it says on the internet, there isn't a hot market for old glass. I've called the only architectural salvage listing in the yellow pages and several stained glass places but no one wants them. The windows may have to just find a new home in our basement because I can't stand the idea of them going to the dump. Now, how to break that news to clutter-free Kris...

Whitey

DSCF0159
This is our little albino squirrel friend. If you can believe it, he was actually whiter (and fatter) over the winter. I just never took a picture of him until now. I thought I ought to while I had the chance, since we live on a busy street. Catch my drift?

Mother's Day

DSCF0117
For Mom's Day, we went to Kris's parents' house. Nice, relaxing day. For us, anyway. Connie & Steve (K's parents) did all the work. Thank you!

Charlotte held her legs up in the air for 30 seconds or more because she apparently didn't like the feel of the scarves on her legs. It was hilarious. Maybe you had to be there.

Graduation

Graduation
I know, I know, preschool "graduations" are kinda silly. But she looks so darn cute in the hat! (That's my sister Rachel with the cheesy grin) Each class got up on stage at a local elementary school and sang 2 songs. I say "sang" but for the most part Nora just stood up there and stared at the audience. Oh well!
(I did catch her singing once or twice:)
